Masked Thoughts

Masks for the Moment, using basic mask forms covered in various handmade and specialty papers, then embellished with seashells, sealife, feathers, silk scarves and/or paper ivy leaves.  Yea, you could put them on a stick for the Costume Ball at the Palace, but they actually make pretty cool wall decor too.  I think I originally made these for one of the “how-to” HGTV  shows.  I had forgotten how much fun it was to create various “themed” personalities, think I will get more of the basic forms and create some more “people”.    Garden...

Medicine Man Tin Bottle Project

“Since it’s introduction, the fatal West Indies fevers are deprived of their terrors”. “My second daughter has been suffering a long time from GENERAL DEBILITY, LANGUOR, and LOSS OF APPETITE, but since taking your Pyretic Saline she has improved wonderfully”   And other assorted miraculous benefits.   Love that “shabby chic” almost industrial look? – then this will be right up your alley.  This is a project that we did for one of The Carol Duvall Show segments on HGTV a couple of years ago, and since we still have quite a few of the...

What we are planning…

So, I suppose I should start at the beginning (wasn’t it the King who advised Alice to “Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end”)?  – the beginning of Loose Ends Unleashed. Although our inspiration comes from our original Loose Ends – we are re-organizing as this new company.  And (sound of trumpets please) we have a new member on our team – Jim. Jim is a computer guy! – a geek!  Someone who actually likes all the social networking!!!  We are SO excited about this addition, and many of you know that we can really use this type of talent!  Plans for YouTube, Facebook,...
