Thistle & Art Beachcombing

  Two weeks ago I taught a Creating Collage Elements workshop at the Visual Arts Center in Newport.  The beach is absolutely Art’s & my favorite place to be, and Thistle couldn’t agree more.  We spent an extra day gathering seaweed, shells, rocks, driftwood and other assorted flotsam & jetsam.  Thistle LOVES the beach, and although she tries hard to be interested in what we are looking at, she thinks it’s a pretty sily way to spend time when you could be running, jumping and scaring seagulls....
